A Dream Born from Friendship and Flavor
La Calera Mexican Bar and Grill was the brainchild of three best friends: Fidel Valdovinos, Adi Karamcheti and Luis Manuel Mejia Sanchez. They had often discussed opening a restaurant where the focus was on great food combined with a bright, welcoming and warm atmosphere.
La Calera is a small town in Michoacan, Mexico. The literal translation of the name is ‘limestone quarry’. It is also the hometown of Fidel Valdovinos.
